4 Roasted Brussels Sprouts Recipes

1. Roasted Brussels Sprouts Recipe with Bacon

Ingredients

  • 1lb Brussels sprouts
  • 5-6 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 tablespoon organic maple syrup
  • Four bacon slices
  • Four slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • Salt and smocked paprika powder (to taste)

Instructions

  • Set the oven for preheating at 400°F (200°Celcius). Also, line a shallow baking tray with an aluminum sheet.
  • Prepare the Brussels sprouts by trimming off the ends and removing the outer yellow leaf. Please transfer to the lined baking tray and place them in a single layer with a bit of gap between each.
  • Mix the olive oil and maple syrup in a bowl and brush it all over the Brussels sprouts coating them generously.
  • Chop the bacon slices into 0.5-1 inch thick pieces and place them on the lined baking tray in between the gaps of Brussels sprouts. (The bacon pieces should also be placed in a single layer without touching one another)   
  • Sprinkle salt and smoked paprika powder on top of the Brussels sprouts and bacon pieces.
  • Put the tray in the preheated oven and roast for 25 minutes. Then, take them out, flip the Brussels sprouts & bacon pieces, and transfer them back to the range to roast for 20 more minutes.

2. Roasted Brussels Sprouts Recipe With Balsamic

Ingredients

  • 1lb Brussels sprouts
  • 3½ Tablespoons olive oil
  • A Tablespoon of Balsamic vinegar
  • A teaspoon of honey
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon white pepper powder (or to taste)

Instructions

  • Set the oven for preheating at 425°F. (*Arrange the rack in the middle of the range)
  • Ready a wide baking tray with foil paper.
  • Prep the Brussels sprouts by trimming the end. Discard any worn-out outer leaf and cut it in half.
  • Transfer the prepped Brussels sprouts to the lined baking tray and nicely coat them with olive oil (2Tbsp), salt, and white pepper powder. Spread them out in a single layer.
  • Put the tray in the preheated oven and roast for 10 minutes. Take the tray out, turn them, and put the tray back in the range to roast for ten more minutes.
  • After the roasting is done, the Brussels sprouts should look golden and be fork-tender. Pour the rest of the olive oil (1½ Tbsp) and drizzle the balsamic vinegar followed by the honey. Please give it a toss so that the liquids coat the veggie evenly!

 3. Roasted Brussels Sprouts Recipe With Garlic

Ingredients

  • 1lb Brussels sprouts
  • Three tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Two teaspoons garlic powder
  • 4-5 garlic cloves (peeled & minced)
  • Kosher salt and chili flakes (to taste)

Instructions

  • Set the oven for preheating at 400°F.
  • Prep the Brussels sprouts by slicing off the stem end and halving them lengthwise. Transfer to a bowl.
  • Drizzle the extra-virgin olive oil; add the garlic powder, minced garlic, salt & chili flakes on the prepped Brussels sprouts. Mix well!
  • Line a wide baking tray with a baking sheet and spread out the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a layer without overlapping.
  • Put in the preheated oven to roast for 35 minutes. At 17 minutes intervals, stir the Brussels sprouts and continue roasting.

Serve warm as a mouth-watering side, snack, or starter!  

4. Roasted Brussels Sprouts Recipe with Parmesan

Ingredients

  • 1lb Brussels sprouts (trim steam and slice in half)
  • 1 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • A dash of Kosher salt (or use as per taste)
  • ½ teaspoon white pepper power
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder (optional)
  • One teaspoon onion powder
  • One teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese (grated) 

Instructions

  • Set the oven for preheating at 400°F. 
  • Ready a cookie sheet by spraying it with non-stick cooking spray!  
  • Put the trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts into a large bowl. Add the oil, salt, pepper, chili, onion, garlic, and Parmesan. Mix nicely to coat the seasoning and grated cheese all over the Brussels sprouts. 
  • Transfer the seasoning cheese-coated Brussels sprouts to the cookie sheet.
  • Please put it in the oven and roast for 30 minutes. At every 10 minutes interval, stir the Brussels sprouts to get roasted evenly on all sides.
