1. Green Beans Recipe with Garlic Butter


  • 300-350 grams fresh Green Beans
  • ½ cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • A pinch of Salt
  • ½ teaspoon black ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic & onion powder 
  • A pan with lid & spatula


Step 1: To prepare, green beans should be washed and trimmed at both ends before cooking. You can cut it in half if you see the beans too long. If you have a lot of time, you should light cut the lines on the body of the beans slightly (A 45-degree angle) to green beans to absorb evenly the spices when cooking.

Step 2: Put the prepared beans in the pan and cover with water. Place the pan in the stove on high heat and cook the green beans for 5 minutes.

Step 3: After boiling the green beans, take them out immediately and into a bowl of ice water. Soak for a few minutes to cool the beans, take them out and drain. This step will help make your green beans bright green and crispy.

Step 4: Heat the butter in a medium pan (you can also use olive oil if butter is not available), when the butter starts to melt add green beans. Season the beans with salt & pepper. Also, add in the garlic & onion powder if preferred then stir often for 7 minutes so that the beans turn appetizingly soft.
