Step 4: After about 30 minutes of cooking, turn off the heat and let brown rice sit for 10 to 15 minutes so that rice absorbs all the excess water. Then open the lid and fluff the brown rice before serving.

- 2 cup regular Brown Rice (short grain)

Step 1: Transfer the rinsed rice into the instant pot. Add 2 cups of filtered water and mix it up so that the rice is submerged in the water. Make sure there is no rice left sticking to the sides of the pot.
Step 2: Close the lid and switch the valve to the sealing position. Set the timer to 15 minutes on manual. Let it cook.
Step 3: Next, allow the instant pot to release the pressure naturally for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Now, turn the valve to venting (helps release the remaining pressure quickly). Once the pin drops, you may uncover the lid.
Step 6: Finally, fluff up the well-cooked brown rice with a fork and serve.
