Corn dogs are a classic fair food that can satisfy cravings for something warm, crispy, and delightfully corny any time of year. While they’re commonly fried, you can easily cook frozen corn dogs to crispy perfection in the air fryer or oven with just a few simple steps. Both methods cut down on oil and mess while delivering deliciously crunchy exteriors with piping hot, juicy interiors.

Air Fryer Corn Dogs

1. How To Cook Frozen Corn Dogs in Air Fryer

Ingredients

  •  Frozen Corn Dogs ( or mini Frozen Corn Dogs)

Instructions

Step 1: Place the corn dogs in the air fryer basket.

For regular corn dogs. You need to air fry them at 360F for 10 minutes. After the first 5 minutes, flip the corn dogs over and continue cooking the remaining 5 minutes

For mini corn dogs. You need to air fry them at 360F for 8 minutes. After the first 4 minutes, flip the corn dogs over and continue cooking for the remaining 4 minutes.

Step 2: Take out the corn dogs to a plate and let them cool. Serve them with chutney and ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce. However, for a healthy and balanced meal, I think you should serve corn dogs with a green vegetable salad or fruit salad.

3. How To Cook Frozen Corn Dogs in Oven

Ingredients

  • Frozen corn dogs
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing baking sheet

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and grease lightly with oil or nonstick cooking spray.

Arrange frozen corn dogs on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out evenly.

Bake for 16-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until heated through and lightly browned. For extra crispy, increase heat to 400°F for the last 2-3 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow corn dogs to cool slightly before serving.

While the air fryer is faster, baking frozen corn dogs in the oven yields tasty results too. Line the pan and don’t overcrowd for even browning. You may need to rotate the pan from front to back if they aren’t browning evenly.

Now, you know how to cook frozen corn dogs in air fryer and in oven; I hope after reading this article you will quickly have delicious, crispy golden hot dogs at home. Good luck
