Jalapeno popper pigs in a blanket combine the classic jalapeno popper appetizer recipe and little smokies in a delicious and spicy snack perfect for parties, potlucks, family gatherings, and, of course, game day!

1. Jalapeño Popper Pigs in a Blanket

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz) bag Lil’ Smokies sausages
  • 2 cans Pillsbury Crescent Rounds, cut in half
  • 8 jalapeños, stem and seeds removed, cut into fourths
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp Slap Ya Mama seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, Slap Ya Mama seasoning, garlic salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Spread about 1-2 teaspoons of the cream cheese mixture onto each jalapeño quarter.

Wrap each jalapeño popper with a half-round of Pillsbury crescent dough, tucking and sealing the ends.

Arrange the wrapped jalapeño poppers on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crescent dough is golden brown.

Serve the jalapeño popper pigs in a blanket warm. Enjoy!

The combination of spicy jalapeños, creamy cheese, and savory sausage wrapped in buttery crescent dough makes these a delicious and crowd-pleasing appetizer. Adjust the amount of jalapeños to your desired spice level. Serve with extra Slap Ya Mama seasoning for dipping, if desired.
